Lao eVisa facility is available for 163 countries around the world (pls contact us for details).
Lao eVisa can be used to enter through 8 international ports:
- Wattay International Airport (Vientiane Capital)
- Lao – Thai Friendship Bridge I (Vientiane Capital)
- Luang Prabang International Airport (Luang Prabang Province)
- Lao – Thai Friendship Bridge II (Savannakhet Province)
- Pakse International Airport (Champasack Province)
- Lao-Thai Friendship Bridge IV (Bokeo Province)
- Boten International Checkpoint (Luang Namtha Province)
- Boten Railway Station (Luang Namtha Province)
Lao eVisa fee is non-refundable.
Lao eVisa can be processed within 3 business days provided that all information given by the applicant meets the criteria and is accepted by the Lao Government authorities. If the applicant fails to satify the criteria longer processing times may occur.
Please noted that only ordinary passport is applicable to apply for eVisa.
All visitors entering Lao PDR with approved Lao eVisa are obliged to present the same passport that was used for applying Lao eVisa and was declared at the front-end departed checkpoint or the latest checkpoint to the Lao immigration for ínspection process. Failure to comply can lead to entry permission denial.
